Smiley face raising hand PLEASE HELP BY VOLUNTEERING

 
Volunteering is the best way to learn about Mountain View High School and get to know the staff. There are a wide variety of opportunities for both working and stay at home parents, including working back-to-school orientation, serving lunch, coordinating and supporting staff appreciation events, Grad Night and Wellness/Spartan Pause activities to name a few.
 
You can view descriptions of the various volunteer needs below and sign up as a volunteer on the Back To School Checklist at the beginning of the school year or by filling out the PARENT VOLUNTEER FORM available at any time during the school year. You will be contacted with more information.
 
Back-to-School Orientation/Material Pick Up
Help welcome students back to campus by distributing such back-to-school materials as schedules, textbooks and ASB cards. 
 
Pizza Cart/Lunch Service Volunteers
Each day, many volunteers are needed to help serve lunch at MVHS. Sign up to help get students their lunch, work with a great team and wave a quick hello to your teenager.
 
Staff Appreciation
Join the team of volunteers who help organize events and activities to show our appreciation to MVHS staff!
 
Hospitality
Help the PTSA organize food, drinks, snacks and decor for special events throughout the school year!
 
Grad Night Committee
Grad Night is an all-night party put on by senior parents to provide each graduating student of the senior class a safe, alcohol, tobacco, and drug-free place to celebrate their achievements and enjoy a fun event with their friends and classmates. Many parents are needed to help make this end-of-year event a success!
 
General Help
The PTSA is always in need of extra hands for mailings, event set-up and clean up, program support and other volunteer needs throughout the school year. In addition to PTSA volunteering, many other campus organizations need volunteers throughout the year which the PTSA helps facilitate.
