MVHS PTSA
WELCOME TO THE MOUNTAIN VIEW HIGH SCHOOL PTSA!
The MVHS PTSA is a partnership of parents, teachers, staff and students who are dedicated to the educational and social/emotional success of all students. The group works to raise funds to support important school programs and materials, organize community and staff appreciation events, coordinate volunteers for important roles throughtout campus and make sure everyone has a voice in supporting the students and school. The MVHS PTSA welcomes all parents, students and staff—and encourages everyone to join the organization.
You are invited to become a member and participate in the PTSA. The meetings are bi-monthly and provide the opportunity to hear from Principal Dr. Kip Glazer, district Superintendant Eric Volta, and other guest speakers. Attending meetings is a great way to stay informed, ask questions and have your voice be heard.
We look forward to a successful school year together.

The PTSA is looking for volunteers for many positions for next school year. Several committees and activities could use your help, including:
Carbon-Free Commute MVHS Carbon-Free Commute is dedicated to helping and encouraging everyone in the MVHS community to get to school in a fun, healthy, and environmentally friendly way. The team is looking for helpers to assist with monthly walk/bike to school and other special events.
Grad Night Grad night is an all-night party after graduation where seniors can celebrate with their classmates in a safe fun environment. We need senior parents to help plan the event and parents of all grades to help on the day/night of the party. Planning begins in the fall; the party is directly after the graduation ceremony.
Hospitality The hospitality team organizes and sets up drinks, refreshments, flowers, and other event items (paid for by PTSA) for our PTSA meetings, special speakers, and other events.
Lunch/Pizza Cart Volunteer PTSA needs 6-7 volunteers each day to help serve lunch at MVHS. You can work every day or once a month - the schedule is flexible! It is fun and easy and a great opportunity to be on campus.
Parent Education Our parent education team works to bring special speakers in for Parent Education.
Spartans PAUSE/Student Wellness Our Spartans PAUSE team occasionally needs help putting on some student wellness events!
Staff Appreciation We have many yearly staff appreciation events to celebrate our amazing MVHS staff. Help is needed in setting up and cleaning up events, serving food, and occasionally shopping for items (purchased by PTSA).
STEAM Week Parent volunteers are needed in various positions for MVHS’s annual STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Week. Work with MVHS Science Teacher to coordinate speakers and events and support the daily activities. Greeting guest speakers, theater supervision, and set-up help are a few of the volunteer opportunities needed throughout the week.
Misc. Help: Sometimes the PTSA needs one-off help like item pick up at the grocery store, flower bouquet arranging, catering pick-up, etc. Please check here if we can contact you for miscellaneous help needed throughout the school year.
