| Principal's Message |
Hello Spartans:
Happy National Counseling Week!
This week, we celebrate National Counseling Week. Here are our wonderful counselors, and I say it’s not too late to send your counselor a note of thanks!

Lunar New Year’s Celebration
I had the pleasure of celebrating the Lunar New Year with our Tea Time parents and students from Ms. Liu’s Mandarin classes. I remember celebrating Lunar New Year in South Korea and was excited to see so many students come to perform for their parents. I want to give the biggest shout-out to Ms. Liu and Ms. Chu, who were present to support our students. I also want to thank Ms. Palafox for being present. Finally, I want to thank the Tea Time leaders who organized these festivities!
Celebrating the Central Cost Section (CCS) Scholastic Team Award Winners!
I am proud to celebrate our Wrestling team and Traditional Competitive Cheerleading team for winning the CCS Scholastic Team Awards! Their awards will be presented at one of the upcoming CCS Championship events! Congratulations to our wonderful athletes!Congratulations to the Science Olympiad!
I am also proud to report that our Science Olympiad team continues to do well! On January 24, Mountain View Science Olympiad’s Black and Gold Teams competed at MIT Invitational in Boston, regarded as one of the hardest and most competitive tournaments in the nation.Against 66 of the top teams from across the country, Black team won 3rd place overall with 11 medals. Gold team delivered a strong performance as well, placing 19th overall.

Another Scholastic Art Competition Winner!
Congratulations to Jane Liou for winning a Gold Key Award for the Scholastic Art and Writing Competition with her artwork, "Extension of the Human," and being selected as an artist in the YoungArts competition!

Traffic Safety Reminder - Please be safe andkind!
Now onto a less pleasant topic. We received several complaints and feedback from our neighbors that our students are leaving trash. It seems that we receive at least one phone call a day! Recently, we also received an email from the Children’s Corner Preschool, stating that our students are driving recklessly around the little people and their parents who attend that school. They have asked me to send a reminder to our students not to park in their parking spaces.
Having to send this message to our community again like this makes me so incredibly sad as I know that we have so many amazing and kind students who are so kind and considerate. I ask all of you, including parent drivers, to be careful around school and be respectful to our neighbors.
Thank you,
Kip Glazer, Ed.D.

The generosity of these real estate agents and affiliates helps our local schools (grades TK-12) fund programs and resources that would not be possible. We appreciate the commitment of these real estate professionals to educational excellence.
