Hello Spartans:
This week is Homecoming Week, and I would love to see you at the game tonight!
|
This week, we hosted an outdoor Homecoming Rally, which took additional planning and work! I want to thank our ASB students and Ms. Clarke for their hard work. I also want to acknowledge our student performers. Finally, I want to thank our administrators and staff for helping with logistics and setup.
|
Speaking of the Homecoming Rally, I am incredibly excited to learn who our next Homecoming Royalty will be tonight at the game! We are also hosting our Homecoming Dance.
As I said, it takes a lot of work to pull off these events, and I want to thank everyone who participated in and supported our students to have the incredible experience.
|
Below is the information from the upcoming STEAM week! I look forward to seeing the students and staff enjoy the events!

STEAM WEEK Mission is to engage students in the interdisciplinary nature of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) through hands-on activities, access to STEAM professionals, and STEAM career information. We are pleased to partner with leading technologists from Silicon Valley’s prestigious research institutions and innovative corporations to bring MVHS students a fun and exciting STEAM week, helping to achieve this mission.

Our partners at MVPD have provided us with valuable information on E-bike safety in both English and Spanish. These brochures cover the different types of E-bikes, E-motos and E-scooters. These brochures discuss legal requirements to ride (ie. minimum age, driver license, etc.) and where they can be legally operated. There are also several short Transportation Safety Videos on the Police Department website that cover similar information.
We encourage families to discuss E-bike safety with their students so we can keep MVHS and our surrounding community safe.
